Do you have what it takes?
Event crewing is a unique job.
Every day is different.
One day you might be building the stage at a major global festival...
The next, you could be loading and setting up AV at a conference!
You'll get to see amazing venues and events from the other side, and learn what it takes to make them come alive. First hand.
Ask anyone in crewing, and they'll tell you straight: this can be one of the most rewarding jobs you'll ever have – and it’s also incredibly demanding.
There's nothing quite like it.
And whether you’re new to the world of events crewing or you're an experienced senior crew member with 10+ years under your toolbelt, if you work with us, we'll give you the support you need to thrive.
Our recruitment process has been designed to ensure a positive experience all round:
The Academy
As well as being one of the best crewing companies in the UK, we are a social enterprise and Certified B Corp.
We are the first events company in the UK to become a B Corp.
Our purpose is simple: to end homelessness and inequality by supporting people to access work that they love, that works for them in the long run; and to do our best for the planet at the same time.
We work with VCSE referral partners who connect us to people who are affected by homelessness and facing barriers to work, and we invite these people to join our Academy.
This includes, but is not limited to, a person who:
- Is living in short term or unsecured accommodation, such as a shelter or hostel
- Has left an institution such as care, prison, or the armed forces (past 5 years)
- Is long term unemployed (over 12 months)
We run outreach sessions, training programmes, and a mentoring scheme to help people thrive in our crew.
